France Telecom takes the privacy of its site visitors and subscribers very seriously. On this page, France Telecom addresses what information is collected from you and how that information is used. 1)Information Collected

To better serve site visitors and subscribers, and to enable the operation of the services offered on the site, France Telecom collects two basic types of information from users:

  • Personally Identifiable Information: This information personally identifies one individual from another and is voluntarily provided to us by subscribers or visitors of the site. France Telecom only collects personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide to us. France Telecom only requires personally identifiable information from you when it is needed for registration as part of the community.

3)Other information France Telecom collects

- Cookies

Although bubbletop owns the data storage, databases and all rights to the bubbletop application, you retain all rights to your data.

- Log File Analysis

France Telecom also collects information from your computer each time you visit the site using log file analysis software. Information measured, analyzed and collected in this manner may include but not limited to: your IP address, operating system, platform information, date and time of your clickstream behavior, email address, cookie information, session information (includes: page interaction information, browser interaction information, page response times, length of visits to individual pages, and download errors) and web browser software. Information collected on how you use the site does not include personally identifiable information. Though some personally identifiable information may be collected in this process, the information collected is not used to track an individual’s use through the site.

4)Use of Collected Information

Information Gathering and Usage

  • The contents of your bubbletop page is stored and maintained on bubbletop servers in order to provide the service.
  • When you sign in to access your personal page from anywhere we ask for information such as your email address.
  • bubbletop will never sell, rent or share your personal information, especially your e-mail addresses, with any third parties for marketing purposes without your express permission.

France Telecom will not sell, exchange or otherwise distribute your personally identifiable information without your consent, except to the extent required by law, in accordance with your instructions, or as identified in this privacy policy.

Personally Identifiable Information

France Telecom may use your information, including personally identifiable information, for business purposes including, without limitation, the following:

  • To improve the quality of your visit to the site and affiliated websites and services.
  • To create your bubbletop account.
  • To send marketing communications that you have opted-in to or otherwise agreed to receive.
  • To send surveys to you.

When you register for a bubbletop account, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration (as applicable). The e-mail message will contain your name, the e-mail address you provided and your France Telecom sign-in answer.

Marketing or Promotional E-mails

If you sign up for one of France Telecom’s marketing e-mails either directly, through the subscriber area or by any other means, France Telecom will send you the marketing e-mail that you have requested.
France Telecom only sends these e-mails to site visitors and subscribers who sign up for one of its mailing lists or who agree to future contact regarding special promotions and offers from France Telecom. These mailings contain clear information on how to unsubscribe, and France Telecom honors all requests as quickly as possible.

France Telecom does not share personally identifiable information with business partners who display or offer France Telecom products or services on their websites.

9)Policies for Users of the Site Under Age 13

As this site is not to be used by children under the age of 13, France Telecom does not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from children under the age of 13, except for the limited circumstances described below. In the event a child under the age of 13 submits a question to France Telecom at the site and identifies his or her age, France Telecom may use the child’s email address for the sole purpose of responding to the child’s question on a one time only basis. Subscribers may view and change their personally identifiable information. The information is located in their password-protected profile in the “My Profile” section of the France Telecom site.
It may take a reasonable period of time to respond to any request to cancel or modify an account. If you request the deletion or modification of your personal information maintained by France Telecom, such information may be retained for a period of time in France Telecom’s backup systems as a precaution against system failures. Some information may be retained for longer periods as required by law, contract or auditing requirements.
